Managing Subdomains

You can create and manage subdomains from the control panel. Access the subdomains management page, clicking the Subdomains button on the Domain Administration page. All subdomains existing under the domain and corresponding ftp logins used for managing them will be displayed.

To create a subdomain, follow these steps:

Click the Subdomains button on the Domain Administration page.
Click Add to add a new subdomain. The Subdomain creation page will open.
Enter the subdomain name in the appropriate field.
Select the user the subdomain is created for: the owner of a parent domain or another individual.
Define FTP login, password, and specify hard disk quota if needed.
Using the column of checkboxes, enable all required scripting capabilities to be supported for the subdomain.
Click Update to complete creation of subdomain or click the Up button or a shortcut at the top of the page to return to the previous page without creating the subdomain.

To edit hosting account properties of a subdomain, select the required subdomain name in the list.

To remove one or several subdomains, select them using checkboxes in the Sel column and click Remove Selected.

You can sort the list of subdomains by Name or Login, clicking on the corresponding column-heading displayed in bold. The order of sorting will be indicated by an arrow - up for ascending, down for descending.

To search through the list for a certain pattern, type it in the input field next to the Search button, click Search. If there are any items found matching the specified pattern string, they will all be displayed in the form of a reduced list. The button Show All will revert to displaying the entire list.
